Kurr and Shadow were bonded before they were born and grew up with each other. Their love was something that could not be broke, or so everyone thought. After the death of her family, Shadow left home at the age of eighteen, not knowing that by doing so she left the door open for the one man that had caused the death of her family to twist the other Taurėsślė to his will.
Kurr found Shadow a year later and she accepted him back into her life only for him to hand her over to Blagden Llewellyn. Who raped and tortured her, along with Kurr, for thirty-six years until one night Shadows screams finally seeped into his soul and he willingly gave up his soul to set her free.
For a few years Shadow seemed to drop off of Kurrs radar when suddenly he found her again and followed her for over one thousand years and was captured again by him. His twisted love for her blinding him to everything, but he was still under Blagdens thumb. Once again she was tortured by both men, leaving her broken; however, in a desperate attempt to free herself, she killed Kurr with her own hands.
Taurėsślė however, no matter what they do, never truly die. They continue on as ghosts and guardians, and oddly enough, Kurr has become the guardian for Shadows children, one, a son, they actually share.
