History: The Shaka House is a Minor House and has been for many generations but is descended from an ancient Major House: Thersskel through the oldest daughter, Emilde Thersskel and while the House still exists; there is none of the House that is in service to the Emperor. This link is the only tie that the Shakas have to, at one time, being a Major House.

The rank of House Major was lost due to an ongoing feud with the Razvancha House, which are considered ‘distantly related’ and it is a relation that is periodically renewed. The last chance at saving both Houses was the marriage of the Thersskel daughters into both households. This feud that has cost both houses greatly continues but have not had any major flare ups since the last Razvancha Vor’ill’s, Duron Razvancha, disappearance. Some seem to think that Thirr Shaka, the current Shaka Vor’ill’s father, might have had some hand in the disappearance of Duron Razvancha, but nothing has been discovered.

Members of the Shaka House are known for their chaotic ‘if I do this, I’ll get killed but won’t I enjoy it’ attitudes. They believe that life is to be lived and one should always tempt death without actually being suicidal. This attitude seems to have shown itself most in Trevis Shaka.

The current Vor’ill, Danmos, has proclaimed bachelorhood and has not sired any children, leaving the position of Vor’che to his nephew Lothar, who seems to have wandered off. While the Shakas serve their required time in the Imperial Military, they generally find it too structured, however a few have made it an occupation, such as Trevis in the Guard.

The citadel itself is located in the southwestern portion of the Diirlathe in the outer mountains, a good mining area if you own a portion of it. However because of past feuds the lines of where Shaka lands and Razvancha lands are have blurred and any of the mines in that area have become run down do to lack of upkeep, but does not mean other Houses have pounced as the Shakas keep the borders patrolled.
